Freelance Copywriter | November 2013 – Present   

Provide branding, copywriting and editing expertise for companies primarily in the beauty industry. Clients I've worked with include: KEVIN.MURPHY Haircare, ColorProof Color Care Authority, NEUMA, Rescue Skin, Beautiful Easy, MD Complete, Receutics and Jovenville (a creative agency)

 

Provided long-term copywriting support for Too Faced Cosmetics (November 2013 – September 2019)

  • Worked freelance as the company's first copywriter, in-house 2-3 days per week

  • Wrote copy for all brand assets including new product campaigns, packaging, visual merchandising, advertising, digital marketing, video, events and education

  • Developed the brand's first communication tool that documents all copy pertaining to each individual product

  • Acted as the distinct brand voice while on-boarding and training new full-time copywriters

  • Served as the first full-time copywriter for philosophy

  • Wrote all brand and product copy for philosophy.com, email campaigns, consumer-facing materials, press releases and booklets, educational toolkits and in-store visuals

  • Managed creative requests for materials to support the sales, marketing, ecommerce and education teams, and monitored the status of all projects from initiation to completion

  • Wrote and edited copy for the website and consumer-facing materials, ensuring consistent brand voice throughout all forms of communication

  • Assisted the Executive VP of Sales & Marketing and the VP of Retail Sales with the execution of sales and marketing goals through direct channels of communication

  • Established communication protocol with internal departments to ensure new product launch information remained current and all retail sales forecasts were accounted for
